My Ant George

I created this short animation which I call "Disco Ant" using Microsoft's Liquid Motion. I included sound files in the animation which are not compatible with Netscape. Most of the sound clips included with Liquid Motion can be used only by IE 4.0. Place you mouse on "My Ant George" and leave it there until the animation in the pop-up window finishes.

How did I do this?

I created a basic ant image using Windows Painter then imported the image into Painter 5 and enhanced the detail of the ant image, then I created about 20 clones of the ant image and altered each one with a slight difference from one clone to the next. Each clone was saved and then imported into the GIF Animation (Coffee Cup). I created the animated ant sequence which I call "My Ant George". The next step was to use Liquid Motion to create "Disco Ant". Liquid Motion allowed me to use "My Ant George" and my turning world animations to create the new animation "Disco Ant". Liquid Motion allows you to set the timimg of events, enabling me to sequence the movement of the turning world with the motion of the turning world.

I have yet to find a good utility for conversion of the sound files to files recognized by both Netscape and IE 4.0. If you know of any please let me know. I hope you enjoy my little animation.
