EROSION CONTROL North Flora Revegetation Ltd., provides an effective approach to erosion control by using both "soft and hard armor" and utilizes a vegetation mix that includes plants native to the area being stabilized. Bio-technical approaches to erosion control are the preferred method used by North Flora Revegetation Ltd. This method of erosion control adds both an aesthetic value and a strong anchoring ability to most situations encountered allowing for a quicker and more stable vegetative recovery. Erosion control planning is offered and can be implemented as a stand-alone project or incorporated into small or large-scale projects. Slope stabilization, stream bank control and enhancement and both gully and rill erosion can be effectively managed with this approach. Products used include erosion control blankets, silt fence, filter fabric, geo-ridge, turbidity blankets, gabion mats and jute logs. The initial approach to a specific site remediation plan will determine the groundwork for success or failure in the remediation process. SITE ENHANCEMENT North Flora Revegetation Ltd. will recommend an enhancement plan to benefit recreation usage, wildlife considerations or simple aesthetics. These enhancement devices include landscape changes, wetland establishment and tree islands to enhancement devices that attract specific wildlife species. We will design, implement site enhancement projects and supervise the project from the concept through to completion, if required.
