INITIAL SPILL RESPONSE North Flora Revegetation Ltd. will assist and respond to petroleum product spills and control the contaminant. North Flora Revegetation Ltd. is available as the initial responder or will assist in a major or minor cleanup operation. It is of the utmost importance that spills are responded to quickly and effectively if the environment is to be protected. Most spills can be completely controlled and the affected area remediated for a complete project cleanup limited or eliminating potential environmental liabilities. Site remediation as quickly as possible, will provide a better likelihood of revegetation success and complete reclamation. |
SPILL CLEANUP PRODUCTS North Flora Revegetation Ltd. carries a variety of absorbent products which enable the cleanup of petroleum products and most chemical spills. Absorbent peat moss, as a cleanup product, is environmentally friendly, 100% biodegradable and acts as a vapor suppressant in flammable fuel spills. Products include: loose filled bags and drums, spill totes, absorbent socks in a variety of sizes, pads, pillows and complete spill kits. North Flora Revegetation Ltd. also handles absorbent polypropylene pads, rolls and booms for effective control of contaminants on land and water. |
SPILL SITE REMEDIATION MONITORING North Flora Revegetation Ltd. will establish a post cleanup monitoring service that will track the success of the site cleanup. This includes the application of the required soil amendment(s), vegetation growth and diversity monitoring and soil sampling requirements. |
